Parents of children enrolling in our Pre-School program must schedule an appointment for a two hour General Observation.Teacher(s) will observe the child to determine if he/she has met age-appropriate milestones. This will enable us to verify that our program can meet the needs of the child. Once a child is accepted, they will be placed in the grade level that corresponds with their chronological age, using September 1st as the cut-off date as follows:

  • Toddlers:  Must turn two (2) years old before September 1st *
  • Jr. Pre-K:  Must turn three (3) years old before September 1st *
  • Pre-K:  Must turn four (4) years old before September 1st *

* Children born between September 1st and October 1st may be admitted or promoted based on both our teacher's recommendation and the observation of numerous readiness areas. These areas include, but are not limited to, the following: maturity, social skills, sense of responsibility, fine motor skills, speech, language and communication abilities, manual dexterity, and overall academic readiness.

NOTE: PRESCHOOL “SPEECH & LANGUAGE” and “OCCUPATIONAL SKILLS” SCREENING REQUIREMENT:  Student’s enrolling in Jr. Pre-K thru Kindergarten are required to have their child tested by any licensed Speech & Language Pathologist, prior to commencing school.
