Enrollment at Highpoint is limited to space availability and results of our "Admissions Assessment."  Parents interested in registering their child at our school must do the following:
  • Send an email to [email protected] with parent's name, child's name, date of birth, current grade, school last attended and any other information pertinent to the child.  Parent will be contacted within 24 hours to schedule a Tour of our Campus.
  • After the tour and parent interview, Students can be scheduled for an "Admissions Assessment" which includes the administration of a standardized Woodcock-Johnson Test of Achievement and a brief assessment in core subject areas.  (There is a non-refundable $75.00 Testing Fee.)  Preschool students will undergo a two hour "Observation".
  • Individual Student Assessments must be scheduled in advance.
    • K-8 "Assessments" will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
    • Pre-School "Observations" will take place from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
  • In addition to the academic assessment, the student's maturity, overall attitude, respect for authority, willingness to do their best, social skills, and overall conduct and behavior, will be observed and assessed during a regular school day.
  • Prior to acceptance, Parent will be asked to submit documentation from previous school, including final or current Report Card, Progress Report(s), last two years of Standardized Test Scores, any Awards or Recognitions, and any Psycho-Ed reports or IEP's.
  • Our Program Director and/or Admissions Director will then schedule an in person or virtual meeting (via Zoom) with both the Parent(s) and the Student if necessary; (link will be provided.) Parent will be notified at this time if their child is at a level that corresponds to what is expected within our curriculum. Results of the combined evaluations will determine eligibility for enrollment at our school.
  • Once child is accepted, the online "ENROLLMENT CONTRACT" and other required forms will need to be completed by both Parents and submitted electronically.  Once all forms are acknowledged and submitted, the annual Registration Fee is paid, and immunization records are provided, the enrollment process is complete.
MAIN CAMPUS
Students enrolled at our MAIN CAMPUS are required to abide by a rigorous and challenging academic curriculum. Only average to above-average students that meet all our admission requirements will be accepted. All K-8 students that wish to enroll at Highpoint Academy will be scheduled for an evaluation prior to being accepted.  K-8 Students with learning differences or diagnosed deficit areas, including ADHD, or that are on the Autism Spectrum and need more individualized attention, may not qualify for our Main Campus. These students may be referred for an evaluation at our Coral Way Campus.

CORAL WAY CAMPUS
Our Coral Way Campus is geared to students with learning differences. We accept children with varying exceptionalities, including ADHD, learning deficits, and/or high-functioning Autism, that meet all our admission requirements. All K-8 students that wish to enroll at Highpoint Academy's Coral Way Campus will be scheduled for an evaluation prior to being accepted, in order to verify that we can meet the needs of the child.

Hands-on Play is an essential part of the day!
