ADMISSION TO ELEMENTARY

Elementary (Grades 1 to 5)

Before a student is admitted to our school, the following must take place:

  • Student applying must spend a full day at our school, in the corresponding grade, and take the WJII Test of Achievement; (there is a non-refundable $75.00 Testing Fee.)
  • During Testing day, Teacher will also evaluate the student in several areas. These include observation of student's maturity, overall attitude, discipline, social interaction, responsibility, respect for authority, effort and willingness to learn, overall conduct and general knowledge.
  • Teacher will then submit an "Admissions Evaluation" form with comments on their observations and their recommendations for admission.
  • Previous Progress Reports, school records and Standardized Test results will be carefully reviewed.
  • Once the test results demonstrate that Student is in a level that corresponds to what is expected within our curriculum, Parents will be scheduled for a personal interview with the Program Director or Principal.
  • Results of these combined Evaluations will determine eligibility for enrollment at our school.
  • Students that are enrolled at Highpoint must complete an annual "Agreement Form" and pay the annual Registration Fee by required date. Enrollment is not automatically renewed each year.
